I was lucky enough to be invited to do a 1 day bookmaking workshop with the photography and media students at Boom Satsuma.
The session was structured according to GLORIA’s own process whereby the artist is heavily involved at each step of the book making process with the book becoming an intentional work of art.
Students were taken through sequencing, layout and design techniques, as utilised when I approach my own work.
